Nexa Démolition inc. ("Nexa", "we") takes the protection of your personal information seriously. This policy describes what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights Québec law grants you.

2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to deliver our demolition and decontamination services:
- Identity and contact: first name, last name, phone number, email address, project site address.
- Project details: type of demolition, area, schedule, indicative budget, specific constraints.
- Technical documents: plans, photos, diagnostic reports (asbestos, mold) provided by you or by a laboratory on your behalf.
- Billing data: payer name, billing address, payment method.
- Browsing data: pages visited on this site, IP address, browser type (for anonymous statistical purposes).
3. Purposes of collection
Your information is used exclusively to:
- respond to your quote requests and call you back within 24 to 48 hours;
- plan, execute and invoice demolition, decontamination or interior stripping work;
- obtain the required municipal permits and produce CNESST compliance reports;
- send you daily photo reporting and handover documents;
- fulfill our legal, tax and insurance obligations.
4. Sharing with third parties
We never sell your information. We share it only with:
- Accredited laboratories for asbestos, mold or indoor air analyses;
- Approved landfills and sorting centers for material disposal (manifests required by Recyc-Québec);
- Boroughs and municipalities for demolition permit approval;
- CNESST and competent authorities during their inspections or investigations;
- Our insurer in the event of a claim or loss.
5. Retention period
We keep your information as long as necessary for the purposes above, then according to our legal obligations:
- Project files and compliance documents: 10 years (RBQ obligations and ten-year civil liability);
- Invoices and accounting records: 6 years (Québec Taxation Act and CRA);
- Quote requests not converted: 24 months, then destroyed or anonymized.
6. Your rights (Law 25)
Under the Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information, you have the right to:
- access the information we hold about you;
- request its rectification if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous;
- request its deletion where our legal obligations do not prevent it;
- withdraw your consent for commercial communications at any time;
- file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (Québec access-to-information commission).
We respond to any request within a maximum of 30 days.
7. Security
Information is stored on secure servers, protected by access controls, encrypted backups and two-factor authentication for staff. Paper documents are kept under lock at our Saint-Léonard headquarters.
8. Cookies
This site uses cookies strictly necessary for the proper operation of the pages and, optionally, anonymous audience-measurement cookies. You can disable them via your browser settings.
9. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The date at the top of the page indicates the latest revision. In the event of a significant change, we will notify you by email if we hold your address.
